http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzFo-8QjeDk

This is a montage of the Camera tracking/Object Tracking work I have done over the past few years. Most shots were tracked in Boujou and then laid out in Maya for animation, 3D roto or vfx such as smoke and explosions.

Tracking
Book of Eli- Track for environment replacement also for CG footwear decay on actor.
Fast and Furious- Track for car roto, CG cars, and plate interaction.
Avatar- Stereoscopic tracking for CG re breather mask glass
Wolverine- Track for CG environment, and roto for claws and blades
Johan Hex- Object track and Camera track for orbs and explosions
Knight and Day- Track for CG clouds and cornfield crash
Xfiles:I want to believe- Track for CG snow integration.

Modeling
Fast and Furious- Orange BMW crashing over bridge. I tracked and built out the set extension for that shot.
Knight and Day- Cornfield and fences

Battle: Los Angeles Trailer HD 1080p

Alien Invasion! Battle: Los Angeles, a upcoming invasion flick based on actual event that took place over Los Angeles in 1942. This job was extremely technical for camera tracking. The movie is shot as the audience follows a platoon of marines making there way through LA. I tracked and laid out about 50 shot for vfx, however, these were not easy shots at all. Most were shoulder held while running plus multiple zooms in a single shot. So I had to deal with rapid motion and variable lens in individual shots. Not to mention compensating for lens distortion. Battle will be out early 2011.

Gullivers Travels - 2010 trailer 2 [HD]

This will go down as the biggest and longest project I have worked on thus far. Over 15 months of work went into this film ranging from Camera tracking to modeling to texturing. For modeling, I was tasked to do props and environments since those are my strong areas. But I was primary a camera tracker doing shot layouts for effect and animation. I tracked over 100 shots, set them up in Maya as well doing models during down time.

Crime 360 - Behind the Scenes with 3D Imaging

Crime 360 was a show that re-enacted crime scenes while following the detection process. While the audience follows the detectives around, CG sequences are cut in to represent possible scenarios on which the crime was committed. I took the 3D scans and built up the crime scenes with geometry and textures. The CG is mild due to the quick turn around.

Special Ops

This a TV series I did work on a couple of years back. Using Motion capture, we were able to apply real world motion to CG characters in different fighting situations. My duties were to clean up the mocap, add vfx and render the scene for comp. I was also responsible for previsualization.
